Wild Rice With Pecans

Ingredients: 
wild rice
1 white onion, sliced
2-3 tbsp honey
a cup of pecans, sliced thinly
olive oil

Bring 1 cup of wild rice to 2 cups of water and a tsp of olive oil to a boil. Reduce heat to simmer for 45 minutes. Let stand for 5-10 minutes. In a separate pan carmelize white onions turning the heat to medium high, put in onion, olive oil, and 2-3 tbsp of honey. Sautee until golden brown, then add pecans and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Take whole concoction and mix together.
