Tortellini and Black Bean Soup

This recipe is from Jenny's Grandma.

1 package cheese tortellini---Cook until just barely done, or even slightly undercooked, drain
3 T olive oil
1/2 onion diced
8 cups vegetable or chicken broth
salt, pepper, basil, oregano to taste
1 T sugar
(1) 14.25 ounce can stewed tomatoes
1/4 cup red wine
1 1/2 T vinegar
(2) 1 lb. cans black beans

Add everything but tortellini and cook over med/high heat for 10 minutes. Add tortellini and heat thoroughly. Can serve grated Romano or Parmesan to go with it.

(This is super easy and really tasty!)
